Fear of Being You: The Courage to Stand Out

Challenging the Norms

In a world that demands conformity, my journey has been anything but easy. Bringing latex into the realm of everyday fashion—not just as a fetish but as an aesthetic statement—was met with skepticism, criticism, and outright dismissal. Yet, my aim was never to blend in, but to offer a fresh perspective. Today, I’m not just integrating latex into fashion but also trying to bringing a different fresh style with Ballet Heels, in a new light. My latest project, the Latex Ballerina, embodies this struggle: the fusion of aesthetics, elegance, and technical precision, captured in a radical form that many do not understand—or choose not to.

The Challenge of Finding the Right Model

While the Latex Ballerina is taking shape, I face another significant challenge: the search for a new Ballet Heels Model. This is no simple task; it requires more than just visual elegance—it demands perseverance, discipline, and a true understanding of what Ballet Heels represent. Many are fascinated, but few are willing to undertake the rigorous training required to wear them with grace and conviction. The gap left by Alexandra Potter is not easily filled. It’s not just about finding someone who can walk in them—it’s about finding a personality that embodies this style with confidence and authenticity.

The Price of Being Different—and Why Giving Up Isn’t an Option

It would have been easier to follow a conventional fashion path, to create something universally accepted. But that wouldn’t be me. I’ve seen critics turn into admirers, skepticism shift into curiosity. Yet, this path is exhausting. Burnout, doubt, and the constant question of “Why am I doing this?” are ever-present. Still, there’s a reason to continue: the people who share this vision with me—be it the Latex Ballerina working on something unprecedented, or the future Ballet Heels Model who is out there, ready to bring this style to life. I know that challenging conventions is the only true path for me. Fear of being different? I used to have it. Now I know: Fear is just the price of the freedom to truly be yourself.
